HILL SPRING INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CAS ACTIVITIES, 11TH AUGUST 2017
The Hill Spring School has a
program called CAS for Social work as part of their yearly program. The school
has selected Toybank for this year’s collaboration. We conducted two sessions
with these students.
The second session was a mock play session conducted by our welfare head on 11th August 2017.
The second session was a mock play session conducted by our welfare head on 11th August 2017.
The students from Hill Springs sent
us their experience from the session on 11th August 2017 in their school and we
would like to share it with you:
“It began with us playing games,
doing activities, and familiarizing ourselves with them. We played known board
games and challenging mind games. Moreover, we learned what feelings we want
the kids to feel as they play the games and why. Classes have been very
intuitive and the presentation has explained to us what our purpose will be. We
had one round of riddles, and everyone wanted to outdo the others, which helped
us understand what we feel when we play games. It was indeed a fun session.”
For their next session, these
children will be volunteering with the Toybank team and interacting directly
with the beneficiaries. We hope that this session will be an interesting one
and will act as a learning opportunity for them.
