Toybank Delhi distributes toys at Mera Parivar, Gurgaon - 22nd March, 2014

Toybank was invited to distribute toys to the children of the Mera Parivar school in Gurgaon. The NGO runs two balwadis and a tuition centre for the underprivileged. It was the occasion of their annual result declaration, when the children were handed over a toy each, along with their report cards.
 

The Toybank volunteers spent many hours of labor in sorting, cleaning and wrapping each toy as per the age group and finally we were able to provide toys for around 130 kids. The volunteers were as excited to give as the kids, who were receiving them. The parents too were pleasantly surprised and thanked the team for making the children happy :)
