Toybank and RCMG open Toy Library in Hashiyachi Patti, Matheran!

 Swades is the flagship project of Rotaract club of Mumbai Ghatkopar which was started in the year 2005. 

The RCMG, has adopted a village called Hashiyachi Patti, located on the foothills of Matheran. It is a very small village with the population of not more than 315, as per year 2010. The basic motto of adopting this village is to contribute for the development and upliftment for this region in the best possible manner.

This January the RCMG tied up with Toybank to launch a TOY LIBRARY to reach out to the children from this village.

Here's a note sent to Toybank from Nisha Doshi, Vice Prisident of The Rotaract Club Mumbai Ghatkopar:

I, on the behalf of Rotaract Club of Mumbai Ghatkopar would like to thank Toybank from the bottom of my heart for helping us establishing a Toy library in Hashiyachi Patti under our Swades Project. Your support and contribution has made a lot of difference and bought a smile on the innocent faces of students out there.

I appreciate the fact that your organization is doing great work and taking up various initiatives every time to make a difference in the society in some way.
